Costa Blanca

Information for your stay in Jávea and surroundings

The Costa Blanca is the most magnificent place on the Spanish coast. It owes its name to the cliff top terrain and the many magnificent white, pebbly beaches. The coast is awash with the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, offering excellent conditions for water sports and safely basking on the beach. The Costa Blanca is a combination of crystalline waters, mountains surrounding the whole region with the famous Montgo mountain and magnificent towns set in beautiful natural settings.

The Costa Blanca stretches from Valencia, which is also the region's capital, to Alicante. Both of these towns offer wonderful sights, attractions and a fun nightlife. Thanks to ideal air connections, you can get here from virtually anywhere at any time. Valencia is connected to Alicante by a network of roads and a motorway, which makes it possible to travel both by narrow local roads among the mountains and by a fast two-lane motorway giving comfort on the road.

But the Costa Blanca is not just about water, beaches or water sports. It's great towns with architecture, bars and restaurants. Starting with Javea, which is practically halfway between the two towns, time can be spent perfectly in Altea or Villajoyosa, where you will find charming streets with colourful houses and countless souvenir shops. It is also worth stopping in Calpe to admire the townscape with the monumental Peñón de Ifach mountain in the background, which gives character to the whole town.
